What is Kyros?

Kyros is a liquid restaking protocol built on the Jito (Re)staking framework, designed to maximize yield potential for Solana stakers. Its flagship token, kySOL, consolidates three reward streams — staking rewards, Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) rewards, and restaking rewards — into a single, yield-bearing token.
By leveraging Jito’s multi-asset infrastructure, Kyros eliminates traditional staking limits and ensures that users can continuously optimize their yield. kySOL offers both liquidity and composability within the Solana ecosystem, allowing users to participate in DeFi activities while maintaining exposure to staking and restaking rewards.
Kyros represents a seamless solution for users seeking to unlock the full earning potential of their staked SOL assets without sacrificing liquidity or efficiency.

How does Restaking Work on Kyros?

Kyros simplifies the restaking process by integrating it seamlessly into its kySOL minting mechanism. When users deposit their staked assets, such as JitoSOL, into the Kyros vault, the protocol delegates these assets to a curated selection of industry-leading node operators. These operators play a critical role in validating transactions for Node Consensus Networks (NCNs), ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.

How to (Re)stake?

To restake, users simply deposit their staked assets (e.g., JitoSOL) into the Kyros vault via the protocol’s interface. This deposit mints kySOL, the yield-bearing token that aggregates staking, MEV, and restaking rewards. Kyros handles the delegation process, optimizing for yield through its partnership with top-performing node operators.

How to (Un)stake?

Unstaking can be done in two ways:
  1. Through the Kyros Website: Initiate an unstaking request, and after a waiting period of at least one Solana epoch (~2 days), you will receive your original JitoSOL back.
  1. Instant Unstaking via Jupiter: Swap your kySOL for JitoSOL instantly on the Jupiter exchange, providing a flexible and efficient option for liquidity needs.
Kyros ensures that both staking and unstaking processes are streamlined, allowing users to maximize their rewards with minimal friction while maintaining liquidity options through integrations like Jupiter.

Overview of Kyros’ Restaking/Liquid Restaking Token —

kySOL

kySOL
kySOL
is a Vault Receipt Token (VRT) that represents your deposited JitoSOL in Kyros' liquid restaking vault. This token combines the benefits of Solana staking with the enhanced yield opportunities provided by Maximum Extractable Value (MEV) rewards and restaking rewards, all consolidated into one yield-bearing asset.
When you mint kySOL by depositing JitoSOL, your assets are delegated to trusted node operators who secure Node Consensus Networks (NCNs). These operators ensure the integrity of transactions while optimizing rewards. kySOL holders benefit from:
  • Solana Staking Rewards: Earn consistent returns from Solana’s native staking protocol.
  • MEV Rewards: Capture additional yield through optimized validator operations.
  • Restaking Rewards: Amplify returns by participating in Kyros’ liquid restaking framework.
kySOL provides liquidity and composability, making it a versatile token for further deployment in Solana's DeFi ecosystem while generating uncapped rewards.
