Fluent

Fluent is the first blended execution network that combines a zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM), a Layer-2 network, and a development framework to facilitate the creation of diverse blockchain-based applications on Ethereum. Its innovative approach allows for the simulation of the execution environment (EE) of multiple virtual machines (VMs), such as the EVM, SVM, and Wasm, enabling smart contracts written in different programming languages like Solidity and Rust to interact seamlessly. Fluent supports real-time atomic composability between applications built on different VMs, allowing "blended" apps to integrate smart contracts from multiple environments in a unified and efficient manner.

As a restaking AVS, Fluent operates on EigenLayer, where validators can restake their ETH to secure Fluent's execution network. This allows Fluent to leverage Ethereum's existing security while offering additional staking rewards to participants, ensuring the network’s security and scalability while supporting complex, multi-VM applications.
