What is Cyber MACH?
Cyber L2 operates as an Active Validated Service (AVS) by leveraging EigenLayer’s data availability infrastructure (EigenDA) and integrating unique features that enhance scalability and user accessibility within the Ethereum ecosystem. By using EigenDA, Cyber L2 addresses Ethereum’s current scalability limitations regarding data availability, significantly reducing transaction costs for users while maintaining robust security through restaking.
The restaking mechanism is pivotal, allowing Ethereum validators to delegate their staking credentials to EigenLayer smart contracts. This enables the Cyber L2 environment to inherit security directly from Ethereum, as validators must adhere to additional slashing conditions associated with the modules they opt into, including EigenDA. This arrangement ensures that the security of Cyber L2 is tightly coupled with Ethereum's established staking mechanism, enhancing trust and reliability.
Cyber L2 also features native account abstraction through EIP-7560, which allows external owned accounts (EOAs) to behave like smart accounts with built-in gas sponsorship. The implementation of a seedless wallet supporting EIP-7212 enables users to access their wallets via secure methods like FaceID, further reducing barriers to entry.
Additionally, Cyber L2 incorporates a decentralized sequencer network secured by EigenLayer AVS, which ensures censorship resistance while distributing staking rewards among CYBER stakers, node operators, and developers. The CyberDB provides a cost-effective and efficient decentralized storage solution that leverages EigenLayer's capabilities, enabling applications to utilize large-scale social data across ecosystems.
