DIA Makes High-Frequency Oracles Available on BobaETH and BobaBNB

DIA, has deployed price oracles for the Boba ETH and Boba BNB ecosystems. These oracles are free and accessible to all developers building on Boba’s Layer 2 networks at no cost.

DIA Makes High-Frequency Oracles Available on BobaETH and BobaBNB

Introducing Boba Network

Boba Network is an optimistic-based multichain layer-2 scaling solution that aims to unlock the potential of rollup technology and enable more flexible blockchain communication. The protocol is fully compatible with EVM-based tools and has already deployed multichain support for Ethereum and BNB. This ensures lightning-fast transactions and fees that are 40-100X less than their layer-1 counterparts.

Powered by HybridCompute™ technology, Boba Network brings the capabilities of Web2 on-chain. This innovation allows visionary developers to leverage off-chain data and  compute, crafting hybrid dApps that bridge users to the next generation of blockchain applications.

DIA Integrates with Boba Network: A New Era of Price Oracles

DIA has integrated with Boba Network to introduce two price oracles designed specifically for the Boba ETH and BNB ecosystems. These oracles, a reflection of our commitment to the community and innovation, are available to all developers on Boba’s Layer 2 networks at no cost.

Developers can integrate these oracles into their productive systems without bearing the gas costs for oracle updates. This initiative sets the stage for the development of various oracle-reliant DeFi dApps, such as:

  • Lending and borrowing
  • On-chain derivatives
  • Option and future markets
  • Synthetic asset issuance
  • Money markets
  • Collateralized stablecoins
  • And many more
DIA’s integration with Boba Network marks a significant milestone in our journey to provide developers with the tools they need to create groundbreaking decentralized applications. By offering high-frequency oracles at no cost, we're not only fostering innovation but also ensuring that the DeFi ecosystem remains robust, transparent, and accessible to all. Our commitment to the community and to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the blockchain space has never been stronger.”

DeFi dApps on Boba with High-Frequency DIA Oracles

Crafted in close collaboration with ecosystem partners, these oracles redefine real-time data delivery. They provide resilient, high-confidence cryptocurrency price updates in a staggeringly short time span of just 15 seconds

Designed with perpetual DEX trading in mind, the oracles check for price changes every 15 seconds. An update is dispatched to the oracle only if there’s a price change greater than 0.5% compared to the previously published price. To ensure data accuracy and reliability, all assets receive a comprehensive heartbeat update every 12 hours.

Enabling DeFi dApps on Boba with High-frequency DIA Oracles

Multi-Source, Transparent Oracles

DIA employs a transparent and comprehensive methodology to source price feeds, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Rather than disseminating pre-determined data feeds, DIA oversees the entire data journey, from the collection of individual trade details to the final delivery of the feed.

For example, when generating an ETH/USD price feed oracle, DIA gathers data from a plethora of ETH trading pairs across numerous exchanges. This vast data pool allows for unparalleled precision in creating adaptable price feeds. Details on the oracle’s specific configuration can be found in the following Custom Delivery Request:
