Hello Wanchain: DIA’s Oracles are Live on Wanchain Network

Wanchain is both a sustainable Layer 1 PoS blockchain and a decentralised wide area network of blockchains. The Wanchain Layer 1 PoS blockchain is a full Ethereum-like environment that works with industry-standard Ethereum tools, dApps and protocols and supports Monero-style private transactions.

Wanchain uses a Proof of Stake consensus algorithm called Galaxy Consensus that leverages a variety of cryptographic schemes to improve random number generation and block production mechanisms. Wanchain believes that the point of Web3 is to make peer-to-peer interactions the essence of a networked society. To achieve this Wanchain’s wide area network of blockchains uses a decentralised system of direct, non-custodial cross-chain bridges that connect both EVM and non-EVM networks without requiring any centralised intermediaries.

We are delighted to announce that DIA has integrated its open-source oracle infrastructure with the Wanchain network. DIA’s end-to-end data and oracle services are now available for all users and developers on the Wanchain mainnet. This integration will enable DIA to easily deploy customizable price oracles for 2k+ digital assets, 18k+ NFT collection and 20k+ traditional financial assets. Additionally, the Wanchain developers will be able to access DIA’s newly launched Multi-Randomness, providing dApps on Wanchain with unpredictable and unbiased random numbers on-chain. Together with the oracle integration, DIA has added to its comprehensive data library, price feeds for a variety of Wanchain assets such as including the $WAN coin.

To provide such a comprehensive range of price oracles, DIA’s community of developers scrape data directly from a wide variety of on-chain sources (DEXs, NFT marketplaces, DeFi Protocols, etc.) and off-chain sources (CEXs) at individual trade levels. This approach allows DIA to leverage the broadest possible set of sources, ensuring maximum coverage of asset price data. Currently, DIA is fetching data from 65+ data sources, any asset that is publicly accessible can be sourced, regardless of whether it is listed on exchanges and what its trading volume is.

DIA’s open-source oracle infrastructure differentiates itself from other Web3 data solutions as it doesn’t rely on third-party data providers. With this system, DIA is able to meet any specific data and asset requirements a project may have while also providing users complete transparency on how the data feeds are made.
