Hello zkSync Era: DIA’s Oracle Suite is Available on zkSync Era testnet

DIA is bringing its broad data library of fully transparent and customizable price feeds for 3k+ tokens, 18k+ NFT collections, randomness and more to developers building on zkSync.

Hello zkSync Era: DIA’s Oracle Suite is Available on zkSync Era testnet

Introducing zkSync Era

zkSync Era is a ZK rollup, a trustless protocol that uses cryptographic validity proofs to provide scalable and low-cost transactions on Ethereum. On zkSync Era, computation is performed off-chain and most data is stored off-chain as well. As all transactions are proven on the Ethereum mainchain, users enjoy the same security level as in Ethereum.

zkSync Era is made to look and feel like Ethereum, but with lower fees and faster transaction speed. Just like on Ethereum, smart contracts are written in Solidity/Vyper and can be called using the same clients as the other EVM-compatible chains.

We are delighted to announce DIA has integrated its oracle infrastructure with zkSync Era tesnet, bringing its broad data library of fully transparent and customizable data feeds to developers building on zkSync.

Benefits of DIA Oracles for the zkSync Era Ecosystem

The integration of DIA with zkSync Era’s testnet network will enable developers on the network to begin testing a variety of dApps with customizable and transparent price feeds for a wide range of digital assets, NFTs, and traditional financial ass ets. Developers can now have access to price feeds for long-tail assets and NFT collections, in addition to top digital assets, enabling them to build more diverse DeFi and NFTfi use cases.

“Oracles are a critical piece of the scaling puzzle. Connecting zkSync Era to reliable off-chain data sources will expand the options for dapps, increase use cases and ultimately help drive mass adoption.

It’s exciting to see DIA integrate on zkSync, their focus on price feeds for both long-tail assets as well as larger projects will enhance the diversity of the ecosystem and enable interesting new use cases in DeFi, NFT and their combination.”

Access to a Wide Range of Data Feeds

DIA’s data and oracle infrastructure provides dApps on zkSync Era’s ecosystem with access to price feeds of over 3,000+ digital assets and 18,000+ NFT collections. Additionally, DIA offers access to distributed and verifiable Random Number Generation — RNG, Liquid Staked Tokens — LSTs price feeds, as well as a range of lending rates, foreign exchange rates, and other data feeds. With this wide range of data feeds, zkSync Era protocols can support a wider range of applications beyond just DeFi and NFTfi.

How Does DIA Work?

Proprietary Open-Source Oracle Infrastructure

One of the factors that set DIA apart from other Web3 data solutions is its proprietary open-source oracle infrastructure. Unlike other data suppliers, DIA crowdsources trade data at a very granular level straight from 80+ off-chain and on-chain sources to create price oracles. This ensures that protocols have access to accurate and reliable data feeds while providing 100% transparency on the data journey.

Customizable Price Feeds

DIA’s architecture enables the construction of custom token and NFT price feeds that are entirely customizable in terms of pricing methodologies, data sources, and other factors such as oracle update mechanism and frequency. This means that developers can meet any unique data and asset requirements a project may have while also giving protocol users complete transparency about how the data feeds are made.

“We are beyond excited to connect our open-source and customizable data and oracle infrastructure with zkSync. This integration will enable efficient and reliable access to expand DeFi and NFTfi use cases beyond the top digital assets.”
