Hello OKC: DIA Completes Oracle Integration with OKXChain (OKC)

We are thrilled to announce the successful integration of DIA’s open-source oracle infrastructure with the smart contract platform OKC, enabling developers on the network to access DIA’s comprehensive data library to build a variety of DeFi and NFTfi dApps.

Hello OKC: DIA Completes Oracle Integration with OKXChain (OKC)

Introducing OKX Chain (OKC)

OKC is a secure & programmable smart contracts platform for next-generation decentralized applications. The technology built into the chain was designed for high-performance Dapps with lower cost, making it a great match for many DeFi protocols, NFTs and other Metaverse applications. OKC runs on Tendermint & DPoS consensus mechanisms and supports over 4,000 transactions per second. OKC is built on top of the Cosmos ecosystem while at the same time, offering developers full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility.

DIA oracles integration on OKX Chain (OKC)

We are thrilled to announce that DIA is entering the OKC ecosystem by making its data and oracle infrastructure available on the layer 1 blockchain. Web3 developers on OKC can now easily plug and play DIA’s price oracles to build a wide variety of DeFi and NFTFi applications reliant on high-quality, transparent and crowd-sourced data feeds.

Currently, DIA offers a comprehensive data library which includes price feeds for 2k+ digital assets, 18k+ NFT collection and 20k+ traditional financial assets, as well as a range of lending rates, FX rates and other data feeds.

To source such a broad range of data feeds, DIA’s community of developers scrape data directly from on-chain sources (DEXs, NFT marketplaces, DeFi Protocols, etc.) and off-chain sources (CEXs) at individual trade levels. This uniquely positions DIA to leverage the broadest possible set of sources, ensuring maximum coverage of asset price data. Currently, DIA is fetching data from 65+ data sources and any asset that is publicly accessible can be sourced, regardless of whether it is listed on exchanges and what its trading volume is.

Additionally, DIA’s end-to-end framework allows the creation of price oracles that are completely customisable in terms of computational methodologies, data sources, and other parameters for any dApp and use case. With this system, DIA is able to meet any specific data and asset requirements a project may have while also providing users complete transparency on how the data feeds are made.

“DIA’s ability to granularly scrape data from both on-chain and off-chain sources will provide greater transparency and reliability for oracle users in the OKC ecosystem. DIA’s highly customizable oracle services will play a crucial role towards scaling and expanding the DeFi and NFTFi use cases of our ecosystem. We are thrilled to have DIA come on-board to be part of our ever-growing ecosystem.”

“OKC has been built to provide a new smart contract platform with optimal infrastructure for key use cases in Web3 right now: DeFi, NFTFi and GameFi. We are excited to bring our end-to-end oracle infrastructure to the network to support the new wave of OKC native dApps with transparent and reliable DeFi and NFTFi data feeds.”
