Hello zkEVM: DIA Price Oracle Suite is Available on Polygon zkEVM Mainnet

We are excited to integrate DIA’s extensive data library of transparent and customizable oracles with Polygon’s zkEVM mainnet. The integration makes price feeds for 3k+ tokens, 18k+ NFT collections, randomness and more available to developers building the network.

Hello zkEVM: DIA Price Oracle Suite is Available on Polygon zkEVM Mainnet

Introducing zkEVM

Polygon zkEVM is the first zero-knowledge scaling solution that is fully equivalent to an EVM. All existing smart contracts, developer toolings and wallets work seamlessly. Polygon zkEVM harnesses the power of zero-knowledge proofs to reduce transaction costs and massively increase throughput, all while inheriting the security of Ethereum.

Building dApps on zkEVM is completely similar to Ethereum. Simply switch to the zkEVM RPC and start building on a network with much higher throughput and lower fees. Polygon zkEVM provides a complete EVM-like experience for Developers and Users alike. So you do not need special toolings or new wallets for building or interacting with zkEVM.

We are excited to integrate DIA’s extensive data library of transparent and customizable oracles with Polygon’s zkEVM tesnet. The integration makes price feeds for 3k+ tokens, 18k+ NFT collections, randomness and more available to developers building the network.

“Our top priority is to reduce frictions from developers’ building experience on Polygon zkEVM and onboarding oracle providers like DIA is a very crucial step for that. With DIA, developers do not have to set up their own data ingestion infrastructure and can start focusing on their end users’ needs from the get go”.

Benefits of DIA Oracles for Polygon Ecosystem

By integrating DIA’s oracle suite with Polygon’s zkEVM Mainnet, developers will be able to test various decentralized applications (dApps) that utilize customizable and transparent price oracles for a wide range of digital assets, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and traditional financial assets. This integration grants developers access to price feeds for not only popular digital assets but also less common cryptocurrencies and NFT collections, allowing for the creation of more diverse use cases for DeFi and NFTfi.

Access to a Wide Range of Data Feeds

DIA’s infrastructure offers dApps operating within the zkEVM ecosystem an extensive selection of data feeds, including over 3,000 digital assets and 18,000 NFT collections’ price feeds, as well as access to distributed and verifiable Random Number Generation (RNG), Liquid Staked Tokens (LSTs) price feeds, foreign exchange rates, and other data feeds. This broad range of data feeds allows zkEVM protocols to support a more extensive variety of applications.

How Does DIA Work?

Proprietary Open-Source Oracle Infrastructure

One of the factors that set DIA apart from other Web3 data solutions is its proprietary open-source oracle infrastructure. Unlike other data suppliers, DIA crowdsources trade data at a very granular level straight from 80+ off-chain and on-chain sources to create price oracles. This ensures that protocols have access to accurate and reliable data feeds while providing 100% transparency on the data journey.

Customizable Price Feeds

DIA’s architecture enables the construction of custom token and NFT price feeds that are entirely customizable in terms of pricing methodologies, data sources, and other factors such as oracle update mechanism and frequency. This means that developers can meet any unique data and asset requirements a project may have while also giving protocol users complete transparency about how the data feeds are made.

“We are thrilled to connect our transparent data and oracle infrastructure with Polygon’s Zk-based novel scaling solution. We can’t wait to see what dApp developers will build combining DIA’s customizable data feeds with Polygon’s zk rollup’s capabilities.”

FAQ

What is DIA?

DIA is a cross-chain, data and oracle platform, redefining blockchain oracles on 30+ Layer1/Layer2 networks. DIA’s price oracles are fully customisable, have unmet asset coverage, and 100% transparent. DIA is enabling new Web3 primitives for DeFi, NFTfi and GameFi.

What is Polygon zkEVM?

Polygon zkEVM is Polygon’s Zk rollup and the first zero-knowledge scaling solution that is fully equivalent to an EVM. Polygon zkEVM harnesses the power of zero-knowledge proofs in order to reduce transaction costs and massively increase throughput, all while inheriting the security of Ethereum.

How do DIA oracles work?

DIA crowdsources trade data at a very granular level straight from 80+ off-chain and on-chain sources to create price oracles. This ensures that protocols have access to accurate and reliable data feeds while providing 100% transparency on the data.

What are the benefits of using DIA oracles on zkEVM?

Developers will now have access to fully transparent, and customizable price oracles for long-tail assets and NFT collections, in addition to top digital assets, enabling them to build more diverse DeFi and NFTfi use cases.
