Partnership with ArGo
We are excited to announce a new partnership to integrate DIA oracles into the decentralised hosting and storage platform ArGo.
ArGo is a server-less app platform that enables the automated deployment of web projects on blockchain-based storage networks. Argo offers a decentralized, uncensored, and permanent platform for businesses and ideas on the internet which is permanently hosted with a one-time deployment fee. The ArGo platform is 100% auditable and verifiable as all the deployment is logged in the blockchain.
ArGo’s mission is to bring more usability layers on top of existing decentralised cloud protocols. To give users the ability to choose between multiple blockchain protocols, Argo has designed a new approach. This new infrastructure consists of 2 different layers of components interacting with each other to bring more decentralisation and usability into its system:
- Platform handles the app logic, version control, automation, and GitHub-related logic.
- Foundation is a set of nodes responsible for all the computation required during the deployment of the application.
DIA and ArGo enter a new partnership to connect DIA’s oracle infrastructure into ArGo’s decentralised storage solution. As a first step of the partnership, ArGo’s token price will be integrated into DIA’s broad set of data feeds. Secondly, ArGo will utilise DIA oracles in its hosting and storage platform. As ArGo users pay the deployment fee with ArGo tokens, this integration will enable ArGo to charge its users based on the current price of the token, making the fee amount not subject to volatility.
