ℹ️ Introduction to the Starknet Sepolia Testnet Faucet
To support testing and dApp development, Core provides a public Testnet Faucet that distributes test tokens: tCORE (Testnet1) and tCORE2 (Testnet2). These tokens are for development purposes only and hold no monetary value.
How to Get tCORE / tCORE2
- Visit the appropriate faucet URL:
- Testnet2 (Chain ID: 1114): https://scan.test2.btcs.network/faucet
- Testnet1 (Chain ID: 1115): https://scan.test.btcs.network/faucet
- Paste your wallet address in the input field.
Make sure it’s your Core Testnet address from MetaMask.
- Complete the CAPTCHA to verify you're human.
- Click the request button:
- On Testnet2, click “Get tCORE2”
- On Testnet1, click “Get tCORE”
- Wait for confirmation.
Your MetaMask balance will reflect the token once the transaction is processed.
Daily Limit: Each wallet address can request only once every 24 hours. If you hit the limit, try again after 24 hours or request help in the Core Discord Server.
Note: tCORE and tCORE2 are test tokens with no real-world value. They are only for development and testing on the Core testnets.
