🦊 How To Add The Somnia Network To Your Metamask Wallet
Somnia is an EVM-compatible blockchain, which means you can connect to it using MetaMask or any other Ethereum-compatible wallet.
To interact with the Shannon Testnet, follow these steps:
- Open the Metamask browser extension.
- Open the network selection dropdown menu by clicking the dropdown button at the top of the extension.
- Click the ”Add network” button.
- Click ”Add a network manually”.
- In the dialogue box that appears, enter the following information for Base mainnet:

Alternatively, you can automatically add Base to your wallet by using the ChainList application.
- Connect your MetaMask Wallet to the ChainList app.
- Toggle on “Include Testnets”
- Input “Somnia” or “50312” in the search bar at the top of the page.
- When Somnia Testnet appears, click “Add to MetaMask.”
- Approve the network addition in MetaMask.
