What is DIA?
DIA is a cross-chain data and oracle platform that provides verifiable and real-time price feeds for a wide range of financial assets. It aggregates data from multiple traditional and decentralized sources, ensuring accuracy and transparency for smart contract applications.
DIA Lumina is a rollup-powered, trustless oracle network that provides data feeds for tokens, LSTs, RWAs, random numbers, and more across any blockchain. The network operates permissionlessly, allowing nodes and stakers to contribute to decentralized data sourcing, secured by crypto-economic incentives and cryptographic mechanisms like zero-knowledge proofs. DIA’s native Ethereum Layer 2 rollup, Lasernet, handles all key oracle operations, enabling trustless computation and full verifiability.
DIA xREAL is DIA’s RWA oracle product, designed to bring real-world asset (RWA) data on-chain. It provides price feeds for stocks, exchange rates, bonds, commodities, inflation rates, and more, enabling DeFi applications such as tokenized stock trading, bond derivatives, stablecoins backed by RWAs, and on-chain index funds. DIA xREAL operates across multiple blockchains and offers customizable oracles to meet specific RWA use cases in DeFi.
How DIA works
DIA aggregates price data from multiple sources, including crypto market aggregators, traditional finance institutions, and decentralized data providers. It then cleans, validates, and computes price feeds using customizable methodologies. These feeds can be delivered on-chain across multiple blockchains or accessed off-chain via API and GraphQL endpoints.
DIA Lumina is composed of three main stages, each critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and accessibility of your data.
1. Data Sourcing – Real-time data is collected from DEXs, CEXs, and other sources through Feeders. A decentralized network of nodes verifies and aggregates this data to maintain accuracy and integrity.
2. Data Computation – The collected data is processed within LaserNet using Pods and Aggregators. These components clean, validate, and compute the data, transforming it into secure and reliable price feeds.
3. Delivery & Usage – The processed data is distributed across multiple blockchains using Spectra, DIA’s cross-chain messaging protocol. This ensures seamless integration of oracle data into any blockchain environment.

How to use DIA
- Request a Custom Oracle: Developers can consult DIA’s integration team via Telegram or Discord to design a tailored oracle. Alternatively, users can submit a Custom Delivery Request on the DIA Forum for direct deployment.
- Access API Endpoints: DIA provides ready-to-use price feeds for forex, commodities, ETFs, and other RWAs via API. Example: Fetching the latest gold price (XAU-USD) or EUR-USD forex rate.
- On-Chain Deployment: Developers can integrate DIA oracles into their smart contracts on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Solana, Polkadot, and more. Price feeds update based on time, deviation, or hybrid triggers to ensure real-time accuracy.
What role does DIA play in the RWA Tokenization ecosystem?
DIA provides real-time price feeds for over 20,000 traditional financial assets, including stocks, commodities, and other instruments, by aggregating data from multiple financial sources. This ensures accurate, verifiable, and unbiased pricing for use in smart contracts.
RWA Use cases powered by DIA
DIA’s oracle solutions power various real-world asset (RWA) use cases in DeFi by enabling secure, transparent, and verifiable on-chain data for financial markets.
- RWA-Backed Stablecoins: DIA provides price feeds for assets like fiat currencies, treasury bills, and bonds, allowing for the issuance of stablecoins backed by real-world reserves. This ensures stability and reliable collateralization in DeFi ecosystems.
- Tokenized Stock Trading: DIA’s real-time stock price oracles enable decentralized exchanges (DEXs) to facilitate buying and selling tokenized stocks, removing the need for traditional brokerages while ensuring accurate pricing.
- Bond Derivatives: DIA supports on-chain bond derivatives, allowing users to hedge against or speculate on bond market movements. This creates new opportunities for structured products in DeFi.
- On-Chain Index Funds: DIA’s data feeds enable the creation of index-tracking tokens, allowing users to invest in diversified stock portfolios on-chain, similar to ETFs in traditional finance.
- Financial Derivatives: DIA’s oracles provide accurate real-time price feeds for derivatives, ensuring precise valuation and settlement.
- Prediction Markets: DIA enhances prediction markets by delivering timely and accurate data on event outcomes and probabilities.
- Tokenized Real-World Assets (RWAs): DIA provides pricing information for tokenized RWAs, facilitating their fractionalization and trading.
- Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Protocols: DIA supports DeFi protocols with accurate asset pricing data, aiding in collateral valuation and risk management.
- Insurance Products: DIA’s data feeds help price insurance products and manage claims based on real-time information.
- Cross-Chain Bridges: DIA facilitates data consistency across different blockchain networks, ensuring accurate price feeds between chains.
- Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs): DIA provides real-time price feeds for assets traded on decentralized exchanges, supporting accurate trading.
- Asset Management Platforms: DIA supports asset management by offering real-time pricing and valuation data for diverse asset portfolios.
