ZARP is a South African rand stablecoin issued by ZARP Stablecoin (Pty) Ltd. It is a fiat-backed coin pegged one-to-one to the South African rand.
The issuer operates through Inves Capital (Pty) Ltd, an FSCA-authorised Financial Services Provider under South African regulation. It positions ZARP as a fully cash-collateralised rand-pegged coin.
The token is deployed on Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Solana per the verified contract set DIA holds.

ZARP is fiat-backed. What the issuer states is full cash collateralisation backing the coin one-to-one to the rand, with a transparency surface published. The backing is cash rather than a leveraged or crypto reserve.
This page reports what the issuer states and marks the transparency home where the reserve position is published. The rand is a less liquid currency than the major pegs, which is part of why a cash-collateralised structure matters for this coin.
What DIA reads regardless. Supply is read from contract state on the chains DIA indexes.

The verification question for ZARP is whether the stated cash collateralisation is corroborated by a current dated independent attestation. This page does not assert an attestation tier that the evidence pull has not confirmed.
The rand carries currency risk and a thinner onchain market than the dollar stablecoins, so liquidity and redemption depth are the risks to watch. Supply is read across the Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Solana legs of the onchain record as of the 2026-08-05 snapshot.

DIA reads ZARP supply from contract state on the chains it indexes. That is proof of onchain supply, and the cash backing ZARP claims is reported as the issuer states it.
