A dollar stablecoin is issued in one place and used everywhere. A lira, real or naira stablecoin is not: it exists because someone in that market needed it, and it circulates where that need is. These pages group the 158 tracked coins by the markets they were built for.
Regulation is the other reason to read the map this way. MiCA, the Singapore MAS framework and the Nigerian CBN rules each produced a different shape of issuer, and the roster on each region page shows what that produced.
