What is Algem?
Algem is a dApp powered by Astar Network, providing two fundamental features: liquid staking and liquid lending. As implied by the names, these two options offer ASTR holders the ability to keep their assets “liquid” while simultaneously staking them. DeFi users no longer need to choose between staking and farming their tokens — they can do both.
Additionally, users can leverage Algem’s liquid nASTR tokens throughout Astar’s Defi ecosystem in Algem’s liquidity hub to earn staking rewards and generate extra income. By doing so, Algem offers its support to other DeFi protocols by contributing liquidity and establishing a sustainable and collaborative ecosystem on both Astar Network and Polkadot.
