About the Liquid Staking Map
What is the Liquid Staking Map?
The DIA Liquid Staking Map tracks every liquid staking, liquid restaking, and restaking protocol across all major proof-of-stake networks. It covers protocol TVL, staking yields, chain deployments, audit history, and hack events, all sourced from the DeFiLlama API and updated every 6 hours.
Three categories
The map tracks protocols from three DeFiLlama categories:
- Liquid Staking — Protocols that accept native PoS tokens (ETH, SOL, ATOM, DOT) and issue a liquid derivative (LST) representing the staked position. Examples: Lido, Rocket Pool, Jito, Marinade.
- Liquid Restaking — Protocols that wrap restaked positions into transferable tokens (LRTs). The underlying ETH secures both Ethereum and additional AVSs. Examples: EtherFi, Renzo, Puffer, Kelp.
- Restaking — Base restaking platforms where staked ETH or LSTs opt into additional slashing conditions to secure other protocols. Examples: EigenLayer, Symbiotic, Karak.
What you can do
- Compare protocols — Use the Staking Explorer to filter and sort by TVL, yield, chain, and category
- Review security — The protocol directory shows audit count, hack history, and contract age for each protocol
- Browse by chain — 18 network pages show which staking protocols are deployed on each chain, with chain-specific TVL and yield data
Who is this for?
- Stakers researching which protocol to use for a given chain
- DeFi users evaluating LSTs as collateral in lending markets
- Protocol teams benchmarking against competitors
- Researchers studying the liquid staking sector across chains
Built by DIA
The Liquid Staking Map is built and maintained by DIA, a cross-chain oracle infrastructure provider. DIA delivers transparent, customizable price feeds and value oracles across 50+ blockchains, including exchange rate feeds for liquid staking tokens.
