Ripio is a Latin American exchange that has been operating since 2013, and it issues the widest set of local currency tokens in the region. Its footprint spans Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Uruguay, with a presence in Spain and limited services in the United States.
The important thing about this issuer is that the tokens follow the exchange rather than the other way round. Its wrapped local currency set maps almost exactly onto the countries where it runs a business, which explains why the roster is wide across currencies and shallow within each of them. These are rails for its own users, not an attempt to build six national payment instruments.

Ripio's public product surfaces describe local stablecoins as crypto one to one with the peso, which is a description of intent rather than a disclosure of backing.
DIA has not found a published reserve report, a named custodian or a named examining firm for these tokens on the issuer's public surfaces. That is recorded as an absence rather than filled in with an assumption, and it places the wrapped set at the lower end of this map's disclosure ladder regardless of how well the exchange behind it operates.
The distinction worth holding is that this is a statement about what has been published, not about whether the tokens are backed. An exchange issued wrapper is a straightforward instrument with a real balance sheet behind it. What is missing is anyone outside the company having counted that balance and said so in a document a reader can retrieve.

DIA reads these tokens from contract state on the chains they are deployed to, which for an exchange issued wrapper is the only independent measurement available at all. There is no reserve document to set against it.
That makes this issuer a useful illustration of what first party onchain data can and cannot do. It can tell you how much of a token exists and where it sits, and it can do that without the issuer's cooperation. It cannot tell you what is held against it. Both halves are needed, and on this roster only one of them is currently obtainable.
Where a token in this set has no contract address DIA has been able to read, no supply figure is shown for it, and that gap describes our coverage rather than the token.

A set of wrapped local currency tokens covering six Latin American currencies, which is the widest local currency roster from any single issuer in the region. The set maps almost exactly onto the countries where Ripio runs an exchange, because these are rails for its own users rather than standalone national payment instruments.
The issuer describes them as crypto one to one with the peso, which is a statement of intent rather than a disclosure. DIA has not found a published reserve report, a named custodian or a named examining firm for these tokens on the issuer's public surfaces, and records that as an absence rather than filling it in.
Partly. DIA reads supply from contract state on the chains each token is deployed to, which works without the issuer's cooperation. There is no reserve document to set against those reads, so only one half of the balance is currently obtainable for this roster.
