DIA Staking Enters Its Next Phase

One year of Lasernet mainnet staking complete. Starting July 1st, the reward emission rate adjusts to target approximately 5-6% APY at current stake levels.

DIA Staking Enters Its Next Phase

Lasernet mainnet staking has been live for one year. 4.4 million DIA is staked on Lasernet today, with more than 11 independent Feeders actively submitting oracle data onchain across 60+ chains.

Starting July 1st, the reward emission is calibrated to target approximately 5-6% APY at the current 4.4M DIA staked. As total stake changes, so does the APY: more stake means lower returns per token, less stake means higher. The live rate is always visible on the staking dashboard.

The mechanics stay the same: flexible entry and exit, 7-day unbonding, auto-compounding rewards, and no lockups beyond the minimum of 1 wDIA. The only change being introduced is to the rate.

From bootstrap to base rate

Genesis Staking, launched in late 2024 ahead of the Lasernet mainnet, offered up to 30% APY. The purpose was specific: reward early holders migrating DIA to Lasernet and seed the initial staker base before the network went live. It was filled to capacity in a matter of a few days.

When mainnet staking launched in June 2025, elevated yields continued through the first year of live oracle operations: Lasernet was new, feeder participation was still ramping, and the cryptoeconomic security model was being proven in production.

That phase is done. The Feeder network has grown to more than 10 independent operators, including Restake, Liquify, Chainbase, Stakecraft, Globalstake, Blockscape, Aleno, and Stakin. Oracle data is being delivered and verified onchain at scale across the DIA ecosystem.

Early stakers were rewarded at rates that reflected the commitment of being first. DIA now shifts to a more sustainable mode, with the focus on broader oracle adoption and the infrastructure development that underpins long-term token value.

Staking mechanics are unchanged

No action required for existing DIA stakers. The adjustment takes effect automatically from July 1st, and staked positions, accrued rewards, and the unbonding process are all unaffected. Feeder rewards are separate from staker yield and tied to data accuracy and submission timeliness. Both are unaffected.

Staking on Lasernet remains a position in the security of a live oracle network, now entering its second year of production operations.
