LUMINA

The Rollup-Powered Oracle

DIA introduces its vision for a fully decentralized, open oracle network, with an L2 rollup at the core of the new stack.

Supporting 50+ chains

A new oracle paradigm

DIA Lumina is a completely redesigned oracle stack built from the ground up. This new architecture focuses on maximizing decentralization and trustless execution while enhancing the utility of the native DIA token.

DIA Lumina is composed of state-of-the-art modular components that use Lasernet, DIA’s native Ethereum layer-2 rollup, as its core settlement layer for critical data operations such as storage, computation, and verification.

FAQ

Common Questions on Lumina

What are the benefits of DIA Lumina?
DIA Lumina offers an open data network with fully traceable data flows that anyone can view. It’s highly flexible, allowing customizable participation by anyone, anytime. With infinite reach, it can access and deliver data from countless sources. Operating in a decentralized and trustless manner, it eliminates the need to rely on a single party. Currently secured through cryptoeconomics, it has the potential for future cryptographic security as well.
How many chains is DIA Lumina integrated with?
Lumina is integrated with and available on 80+ EVM and WASM chains, such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Linea, Polygon, Optimism or Solana.
How is DIA Lumina different from the previous stack?
DIA Lumina, our new V2 oracle stack, introduces a trustless, decentralized architecture powered by an Ethereum Layer-2 rollup, ensuring verifiable and transparent data flows. It focuses on distributed operations, where multiple node operators contribute to securing the network, and integrates advanced crypto-economic security mechanisms like staking, with future support for zero-knowledge proofs.

On the other hand, DIA Nexus, the original V1 stack, remains a highly reliable and transparent system that has withstood several market cycles and continues to support 50+ chains and 200+ dApps. It excels in offering more economical and computationally complex methodologies, faster deployments, and granular data sourcing. Nexus is still running in parallel to Lumina, providing faster and more cost-effective solutions for certain use cases.

While Lumina expands on decentralization and scalability, Nexus remains a battle-tested, fast, and cost-efficient solution that continues to serve users across the ecosystem.
How can I participate in network data sharing or security?
During the initial testnet phase of DIA Lumina, participation will be limited to a select number of trusted partners who will be invited to run Feeders (data-sourcing nodes). However, DIA token holders can participate by staking DIA on the testnet to secure their spot for Mainnet staking and contribute to securing the network.

Once the Mainnet launches, Lumina will open up to anyone who wishes to participate. At this point, you will be able to:

- Run a Feeder node permissionlessly, sourcing data for the network.
- Stake or delegate DIA, earning rewards while securing the network.
- Deploy custom Aggregator smart contracts, enabling you to receive oracle data with specific configurations.

While waiting for the Mainnet launch, we invite you to follow DIA on Twitter (X) and Telegram to stay up to date with the latest developments and news.
